I Made A Viral Video For A Local Business With Veo 3 (Full Tutorial)
And How You Can Make One For Yourself
Well howdy partna. Today we’re going to keep our push toward using these AI tools for business monetization. I think we can all agree that the “cool factor” of AI is wearing off fast, now we want to know how it can help us. The question now is, how can we use AI to lead a more optimized life, but equally as important, how can we use AI to make more money. A reminder…I have moved this newsletter into a paid membership! So this is the last one where everything will be readable, I’ll leave a ton of value up top still, but the prompts and deep dive into marketing psychology will be locked behind a paywall for paid subscribers. I think that’s fair, everyone always gets the main value but for those who want more (and are willing to pay for it) I’ll go all out! So with all that being said, I do hope you consider becoming a paid member today

Let’s Meet The Business Owner
My client Nicole has been featured on Dragon’s Den (Canada’s equivalent to Shark Tank), she also runs a 7 figure home spray tanning service..so I knew her expectations would be high. In order to understand the commercial I made for her, you should probably understand her business.
Here’s a short breakdown: Nicole runs her own home spray tanning business, so she often goes to the homes of her clients herself who need to get a tan for an upcoming wedding or travel. But she is also a franchisee (woo-hoo go Nicole), so she has dozens of other women who have bought the rights (and tools) to sell her tanning service.
When I reached out to her earlier this week, I sent her a sample of a scene of a character saying “I booked Tan On The Run!” She was shocked how real it looks! I’ll link the video below because even to this day I can NOT believe how good AI video has gotten. But hey we can all benefit so let’s move forward to a breakdown of the tools I used to make the video and THEN the actual process.
The Tools I Used (Soo simple people!)
Veo 3 (As Usual)
My favorite AI video tool of all time (yea I know China just dropped another one (I’ll cover this soon) but I still like this one better.
Eleven Labs (For Voice Overs)
The very best AI voice generator out there. Especially if you use their Professional Voice Clone (PVC). Mine sounds EXACTLY like me! Use my affiliate link if you want to try it!
iMovie
An oldie but a goodie. Honestly your little cousin could make videos with this. Don’t complicate this. I just got paid thousands to make a few 45 second videos. Here’s my editing workflow (‘tis not rocket science)
Step 1: Add all generated scripts in order in iMovie.
Step 2: Add music to the video that matches the theme using Suno AI.
Step 3: Add Voice over with Eleven Labs.
That’s it!
Video Breakdown
There were 8 primary scenes in this clip that were generated by Veo 3. Just like this previous edition where I shared the marketing psychology of each clip, today I’ll go even more indepth why I chose to generate certain scenes. Oh and at the end of this, I’ll show you the full video so try to spot the marketing elements I mention from the different clips below.
The Hook
Honestly not as strong a visual as I’d like. I’m relying more on the two women being seen as attractive (by men) and desirable (by women) to have enough interest for them to get to the next scene.
The Problem
People buy products because it solves a problem, simple concept we must never forget. So in this scene the problem is wanting to be tanned before a wedding on limited time. The solution is finding a good tanning spot so she won’t look orange (implicit desire) and can do it fast.
Poking At The Pain
A lot of times you’ll hear in marketing to “poke at the pain” this basically means that people need to feel the consequences of not taking your solution. So in this scene we give a girl her worst nightmare of looking like an oompa loompa from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory haha. This is way too much fun for me.
Show The End Result
I chose to have a second character use my clients spray tan business, her name was Nicole too in the story (I promise I’m creative haha). In this case the character gets the benefits and the perfect outcome, perfectly bronzed skin. I even put that in the prompt!
The Comedic Ending
People love to laugh, even at the expense of other people. So why not do it with a fake AI character. P.S this clip is a draft of the final one you can watch below (keep scrolling to bottom to see final clip where she is a lot more orange). But anyways the purpose of this final clip is to leave a memorable laugh or moment so that they watch the video again. That’s it! Because if they watch again, your chances of going viral are pretty much guaranteed. But I’ll leave that discussion for another edition. Olu out.

Viral Video Vault took this basic description:
Two women in bathroom getting ready for wedding and deciding where to go for the spray tan. One (lazy one) books a random place with 4 star rating. The other one (smart one) books Tan On The Run because “they come to you.”
And turned it in to this prompt:
CAMERA DIRECTION:
We dolly in slowly on a cluttered apartment bathroom.
Steam curls from the foggy mirror. Curling irons glow like coiled snakes.
A slightly wrinkled wedding invite is taped to the wall — with a faint lipstick smudge across the corner. The air is warm and frantic.
VOICEOVER (deep, cinematic — begins mid-dolly):
“Two best friends. One wedding.
One made the right choice.
The other… a decision that would ruin every photo she’s tagged in.”
CHARACTER INTRODUCTIONS (as the dolly pushes to mid-shot):
LADY #1
Wearing a blush pink satin pajama set, oversized gold hoops, and white cat-eye sunglasses.
Hair in a lazy top-knot. She radiates last-minute panic.
LADY #2
Wearing a beige linen robe, sleek low bun, and the same white cat-eye sunglasses.
She’s unbothered. Calm. Composed. Pure maid-of-honor energy.
ACTION:
Lady #1 stands near the sink, phone in hand, scrolling frantically.
Lady #2 lounges on the counter like she’s already glowing in wedding photos.
DIALOGUE (now in close-up):
LADY #1 (panicked):
“Crap, I forgot to book my tan! Okay… this random place has four stars. Close enough.”
LADY #2 (effortlessly calm):
“I booked Tan on the Run. They come to you.”
