Well hello there. We’re back with another walkthrough of Veo 3, this time dealing directly with the elephant in the room. Veo 3 prompting seems nearly impossible to get right. So I thought to myself, is there a perfect way to prompt so that you get the best possible output to tinker with? The answer is yes! So I’ll break that down before giving you a tool that you can start using for free today to immediately input an idea and get a perfect starting prompt on Veo 3.
*Note: There is not “flawless.” You already know the idea will change, you already know the characters might do weird stuff like generate the same color shoes till you figure out what to change the way you want to describe it. But I can guarantee you the structure we’re using is unbeatable over thousands of generations and it’s what has helped me save a ton on Veo 3 credits. A reminder…I have moved this newsletter into a paid membership! I’ll leave a ton of value up top still, but once a week, the prompts and deep dive into marketing psychology will be locked behind a paywall for paid subscribers only. So with all that being said, I do hope you consider becoming a paid member today

Here’s what you get when you put it all together
My Idea: Write me a scene where Bigfoot is on a plane about to skydive and says “I’m about to sky dive into San Diego to get my teeth fixed”
And here’s what that came up with ⬇️
Outcome Prompt:
🎥 Set Shot – Low Angle, Wide Framing
🌆 Environment Description
Inside a humming cargo plane, flickering red cabin lights pulse across metal walls lined with crates and ropes. The open rear hatch frames a dizzying pre-dawn sky streaked with indigo and grey. Wind howls through the fuselage, rattling harness clips and rippling stray packing straps like serpent tongues.
📐 Blocking
Bigfoot stands dead-center in the frame, hulking silhouette backlit by the hatch’s open sky. He’s strapped into a military-grade parachute, one massive furred hand gripping the door frame, the other tightening a strap across his chest. The camera’s low angle exaggerates his looming form against the roaring dawn horizon.
🎭 Character Behavior
His head turns slightly toward the camera, dark eyes gleaming beneath tangled brow hair. He bares his jagged, yellowed teeth in a sheepish half-grin, then exhales a quiet grunt, shifting weight from foot to foot. His fur ripples in the cabin gust as his massive thumb flicks the harness buckle one last time with surprising delicacy.
💬 Spoken Line:
“I’m about to sky dive into San Diego to get my teeth fixed.”
🎞️ Tone
“Deadpan absurdity at 10,000 feet under flickering jump lights.”
Do you see the difference?? Well you know what this means. You never have to guess your way through prompting again or lose your precious Veo 3 credits. If something is off, you know what section to fix it immediately.
